I decided to try Just Peachy by Wet N Wild. It was only $1.99. Can't beat the price.
Wet N Wild describes this lipstick as, "Lips take center stage! This 4-hour, longwearing lip color leaves a semi-matte, crème finish in one stroke. Glides on easily with rich, velvety color that doesn't cake, feather, or bleed. "
This is a matte lip color. In the tube, it appears coral with a brown hue and is the same shade once applied.
The color comes in a sealed tube, which I appreciate for obvious reasons. (I don't like finding someone's fingernail marks in the top of my lipstick!)
It is a dry formula and has no hydrating capabilities. If you have dry lips, apply chapstick first. This lipstick settles into fine lines on your lips. It doesn't bleed though.
No bells or whistles here. It has full coverage and goes on thick.
It has decent staying power by itself, but I think it works best for me with chapstick underneath and a light gloss on top.
Overall, it's not bad for the price and is great for layering.
