Maybelline Color Whisper Orange Attitude Review & Swatches

Orange Attitude packs a lot of pigment for a little "lip gel".

Color Whisper by Maybelline is described as "Pure color pigments suspended in a weightless gel.
No heavy waxes or oils. Soft, sexy gel-color."

My lips need moisture and Color Whisper does offer that. It's not chalky.

Orange Attitude might seem like a shade that is hard to wear. It is very orange, not coral. It lives up to its name!

I like to downplay mine by adding a clear, nude or pink colored gloss over top of it. I think it's easier to wear this way, but it still makes a statement.

I think orange is gorgeous on dark skin tones, but I am very fair. This is probably my least favorite shade I've tried, to be honest. I don't think it looks good on me without lipgloss.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter Raspberry Pie Review & Swatches

Mmm, pie! Raspberry pie, that is!

This is a pretty shade. The color is rich. It is not sheer, I don't care what they tell ya, this stuff is medium to full coverage. I'm light on my applications but the color pigmentation is still there.

There is no shimmer or glitter in this shade. It's just straight raspberry pie glory.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter is described as "Pampering gel formula provides super charged hydration and glides on lips buttery smooth. Hydrating mango, shea and coconut butter formula boosts lip moisture by 156%. Sheer to medium colour with buttery shine."

Lip Butter is awesome. It is very hydrating and doesn't dry out your lips. It doesn't look like you just ate a raspberry popsicle, nope. This is definitely "butter", but no grease.  There is a slight shine, but it's not predominant.

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter Red Velvet Review and Swatches

Red Velvet makes me think of something rich and decadent - like the cake!

This color is a rich red, but not overpowering. The color is medium to rich depending on how thick you put it on. There is no shimmer or glitter, but there is a slight shine.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter is described as "Pampering gel formula provides super charged hydration and glides on lips buttery smooth. Hydrating mango, shea and coconut butter formula boosts lip moisture by 156%. Sheer to medium colour with buttery shine."

Red Velvet is a much hyped shade. I can see why. This is an easy red for most skin tones to wear. It even looks good on my pale skin.

I honestly love each Lip Butter that I've tried. You never let me down, Revlon!

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter Pink Truffle Review & Swatches

I'm in love!

Pink Truffle is my favorite shade of Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter. It's perfect for the office or anywhere you'd like to wear it.

Revlon ColorBurst Lip Butter is described as "Pampering gel formula provides super charged hydration and glides on lips buttery smooth. Hydrating mango, shea and coconut butter formula boosts lip moisture by 156%. Sheer to medium colour with buttery shine."

It's is not very pink, however. It has a brown tint, but it is very wearable.

I love how great it looks on my lips. It doesn't dry my lips out, look caked on, bleed or settle into the fine lines. It goes on very smooth and stays nicely. It makes my lips look & feel great.

It's not something I would normally pick up. I'm glad I stepped out of my comfort zone after seeing the shade on pinterest. (Yay, pinterest! My hero.)

This is my favorite shade, by far!

L'Oreal Colour Riche Le Gloss Pucker Up Pink Review & Swatches

L'Oreal Colour Riche LeGloss is described by L'Oreal as "Discover our richest shine indulgence for your lips. New Colour Riche® Le Gloss is infused with ultra-hydrating Omega 3, protective Vitamin E, and Argan Oil for our richest shine experience yet. Wear alone or over your favorite shade of Colour Riche® Lipcolour to customize your look."

The shade pictured above is "Pucker Up Pink". The name is misleading because this product is not pink, at all. It's a sheer nude shade with lots of glitter and shimmer.

I think this is a limited edition shade, since it's not on L'Oreal's website. The shade is still in several of my local stores though.

This gloss is great for layering. I never wear it alone, but always over lipstick. The gloss is very shiny. It's my go-to shade to add a boost of shine and sparkle.

EOS Strawberry Sorbet Lip Balm Review

I noticed EOS lip balm by the check out stand at a few stores I frequent. It wasn't until it started popping up other places - blogs, music videos, etc. - that I decided to try it.

Strawberry Sorbet was my pick. How could you go wrong with strawberry anything? It's my favorite fruit, they smell delicious...how could you screw up strawberry lip balm? Good news? They didn't. The "taste" is great and it smells pleasant.

The formula is not thick or heavy. This is a very light lip balm. I recommend it for wearing under lipsticks or whenever your lips need an extra kick of hydration.

EOS will not save your chapped lips. My lips tend to be dry, but you have to repeatedly re-apply EOS if you want to see a minimal difference.

I keep Strawberry Sorbet in my purse. With the round or egg shape, it's always easy to find amongst all of other beauty supplies in my bottomless handbag. heh.

EOS - or Evolution of Smooth - claims "95% organic, 100% natural, and paraben and petrolatum free, packed with antioxidant-rich vitamin E, soothing shea butter and jojoba oil, to keep your lips moist, soft and sensationally smooth."

EOS is great if you're not a big fan of colored lip balms, glosses, or lip sticks. If you want hydrating, EOS is not. It adds a little somethin' something to your lips, but no miracles. I agree with their product description. It keeps your lips "moist".

Maybelline Color Whisper Lust For Blush Review & Swatches

Color Whisper by Maybelline is described as "Pure color pigments suspended in a weightless gel.
No heavy waxes or oils. Soft, sexy gel-color."

The color I'm reviewing is called Lust For Blush (25). It's a soft, light pink.

Color whisper is not heavy on your lips or sticky. It's slightly mosturizing.

Lust For Blush is a great shade for work. It adds a muted, natural pink tone to your lips. The color has a little bit of shine, as indicated by the photos.

Overall, it's a great shade for everyday wear. I wear it to work often and it stays on great.
